The blood-smeared cannibals of the Flesh-eater Courts all live under an intoxicating delusion, truly believing that they are chivalric knights fighting to defend their borders from vile invaders. Only a very few, such as Grand Justice Gormayne, are privy to moments of terrifying lucidity wherein the truth of the matter is revealed. To give into reality would be certain death, and so he leads the Charnlegrand Jury into battle, condemning those who transgress against the Summerking.
